Patrick Tenney October Employee of the Month

Patrick Tenney has been selected to be Valley's October 2009 Employee of the Month. 

He has been employed by Valley since February 10, 2003.  He began his employment in the position of Crisis Intervention Specialist.   In May 2004, he transferred into the position of Job Development Specialist and then in April 2005, he applied and was promoted into the position as Community Support Supervisor. He remained in this position until August 2007, when he accepted his current position of Suicide Prevention Coordinator

He was nominated to be our employee of the month by Mark Musick, Program Manager of Crisis Services.

Mark wrote on the nomination form, "Patrick is always volunteering to help out our staff in anyway by taking the time to assist with trainings, grants, reports and clients. He never turns anyone down who needs help. He consistently attends health fairs to educate the public about suicide prevention as well as Valley services.  Patrick also heads up the Corporate Cup events for Valley by being Team Captain which takes a lot of his time.  He manages to take this task on without complaining.  He has been a real asset to Valley and we are grateful to have him."
