Valley HealthCare System Compliance Program

Valley is dedicated to providing the highest quality services to our clients while also complying with all federal, state, and local regulations. We accomplish this by following a Continuous Quality Improvement Plan as well as a Corporate Compliance Plan, both of which are updated annually.

The Utilization Management and Quality Assurance Departments provide training and support to clinical staff members to ensure documentation of services meet all necessary and required guidelines and to ensure all services provided are appropriately authorized.

Supervisors report on program outcomes at monthly meetings. The Board Corporate Compliance Committee meets monthly with Valley’s CEO and Compliance Officer to review documentation scores, results of any audits by external stakeholders, and other compliance topics.

We are very proud of the efforts we make at Valley to remain compliant in all areas of our work while also delivering excellent services to our clients. In fact, in recent years, several of Valley’s programs have been recognized by the Bureau of Medical Services as being the best in the state.
